At Iron & Branch Woodworking, all of our lumber is locally sourced from the Miami Valley, OH region.
Many manufacturers source their lumber from countries that do not have the same regulations on their forests as we do here in the U.S. This contributes to worldwide deforestation, increasing numbers of endangered species, and climate change.
Every time you purchase an heirloom quality product from us, you are contributing to preserving forests and your local trees.
Unfortunately, many fallen trees are destined for the burn pile, increasing pollutants in our atmosphere and overfilling our landfills. It is our daily passion to save as many of these trees as we can by transforming them into furnishings you’ll enjoy for many years to come.
In addition to sourcing local trees, all of our wood is kiln dried. This process not only ensures that all of our wood is furniture grade, but also kills bacteria that can have harmful effects on the environment.
